Job summary

American Conveyor Systems is seeking a Mechanical Assembler in Levittown, PA. The role runs 6:30am–3:00pm and focuses on assembling powered conveyor units and related equipment for material handling systems.

Responsibilities include reading engineering drawings, preparing parts, assembling with motors/reducers, and ensuring proper fit and alignment. Overtime may be required; travel to off-site sites is possible.

Qualifications

• Proficient reading of engineering drawings and bills of materials.
• Experience with hand tools and manual assembly processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

We have an immediate opportunity available for a Mechanical Assembler to join our growing team (6:30am - 3:00pm). This position assembles powered conveyor units and specialty equipment for material handling systems.

Requirements

Prepare and assemble conveyor parts and components to produce finished conveyors/systems.

Assemble units with motors and reducers.

Fit, align and adjust components and sub-assemblies.

Ability to read and comprehend Engineering drawings and Bills of Material.

Flexibility & willingness to adapt to frequently changing priority/tasks as assigned by Shop Foreman.
