Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, position, and align parts using hand and power tools.
  • Bolt, screw, rivet, and fasten components to meet specs.
  • Read blueprints/drawings to determine assembly sequence.
  • Drill, spotface and mark parts; perform simple functional tests.
  • Disassemble units for repairs or shipping.
  • Connect wiring, cables, and tubes per instructions.
  • Measure parts with micrometers and calipers; maintain cleanliness and lubrication.
  • Solder/de-solder surface-mounted devices (a plus).

Mechanical Assembler

What You’ll Do:
  • Assemble, position, and align parts accurately using hand and power tools.
  • Bolt, screw, rivet, and fasten components together to meet exact specifications.
  • Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine assembly sequences.
  • Drill, spotface, and mark parts as needed, while performing simple functional tests.
  • Disassemble units for repairs or shipping preparations.
  • Connect wiring, cables, and tubes according to detailed instructions.
  • Measure parts with precision instruments like micrometers and calipers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and lubrication of parts and assemblies.
  • Perform soldering and de-soldering of surface-mounted devices and electrical wiring (a plus).
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with basic hand and power tools (screwdrivers, wire crimpers, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to read instructions and drawings.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to record data accurately.
  • Ability to identify parts and follow precise assembly procedures.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Soldering experience.
  • Blueprint reading proficiency.
  • Ability to perform quality measurements using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Preferred Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous assembly experience, especially in aerospace or electro-mechanical environments, is advantageous.
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to work 1st shift (6 AM – 2:30 PM) with mandatory overtime.
  • Must possess a U.S. Passport, Birth Certificate, or Permanent Resident Card for interviews and facility access.
  • Must pass a 5-panel drug test and 7-year background check.
