Job summary

Konecranes is seeking an Application Engineer to serve Production with accurate work orders and manage a global material platform. You will read electrical and mechanical schematics, create production orders, and collaborate across Engineering and Purchasing to streamline processes.

An Associate’s degree in engineering and 2–4 years of industry experience are required. This on-site role offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must read, understand, and compose electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Ability to make independent and collaborative decisions for accurate internal/external estimates.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a team player.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Well-developed PC skills and experience with CAD drawings.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical representative for factory production orders.
• Create production orders using variant configuration and super BOM tools.
• Lead brainstorming sessions to improve super BOM processes.
• Maintain a tracking system for open orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Interface with suppliers, vendors, and customers for clarifications.
• Identify and obtain engineering data to support orders.
