Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Analysis Engineer to support customer project execution and develop expertise in mechanical analysis disciplines. The role includes training on Solar Turbines products and collaboration with senior engineers to become a SME in designated areas.

The position involves onsite work five days a week and requires a solid foundation in mechanical design, CAD tools, and programming. A strong teamwork and learning attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 0–3 years of engineering experience.
• Experience with CAD software: Creo Parametric, SolidWorks, SpaceClaim.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with Excel Macros (VBA), Python, MATLAB or similar.
• Strong fundamental mechanical design understanding.

Responsibilities

• Execute engineering analysis in support of customer projects.
• Specialize in two or more mechanical analysis disciplines as SME.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to build knowledge base.
• Work cross-functionally with engineers to define project details.
• Demonstrate learning mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
