Job summary

Transervice Logistics Inc. is seeking a Mechanic/Technician Forklift in Breinigsville, PA to perform routine, emergency, and preventive maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, inspect batteries and chargers, and use diagnostic tools to ensure safe operation before returning equipment to service. The role emphasizes accurate CMMS record-keeping, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining forklifts and other MHE.
• Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine, emergency, and preventive maintenance on forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, order pickers, and other powered industrial trucks and MHE.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including brakes, steering, mast/hoist components, drive systems, and controls.
• Inspect and maintain batteries, chargers, LP/gas/diesel systems, and electric drive components to ensure proper performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Use diagnostic tools (voltmeters, ohmmeters, scan tools, test stands) and technical manuals/schematics to identify faults and determine required repairs.
• Replace or rebuild worn and defective parts, including hydraulics, hoses, chains, wheels/tires, motors, and electrical harnesses.
• Test equipment after repair or maintenance to verify safe operation and adherence to manufacturer and OSHA standards before returning to service.
• Maintain accurate service, inspection, and preventive maintenance records in the CMMS or maintenance system.
• Maintain tools, shop areas, and (if applicable) service vehicles in a clean, organized, and safe condition; follow 5S/6S practices.
• Support other facility maintenance tasks as needed (dock doors/levelers, minor building or refrigeration work, etc., depending on site).
