A utility engineering firm is seeking a Mechanic for its Florida office. The ideal candidate will have experience in DOT inspections and repairs for commercial trucks and trailers, alongside knowledge of chassis, air brake systems, and electrical diagnostics. Additional skills like welding and familiarity with directional boring equipment are preferred. This role offers competitive pay, health insurance, and a 401(k) plan.

Requirements

• Must have experience with commercial truck and trailer DOT and PM inspection and repair
• Experience with basic truck and trailer electrical diagnostics and repair is required
• Experience with chassis and air brake knowledge and repair experience is required
• Experience with maintaining Vermeer and/or Ditch Witch directional boring equipment a definite plus
• Welding and fabrication experience also a plus
