Job summary

zTrip is seeking an experienced Mechanic for the overnight maintenance team in San Antonio. The position runs Monday through Friday, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, in a clean, well-equipped shop focused on safety and quality workmanship.

You will diagnose and repair fleet vehicles, perform preventative maintenance, and maintain detailed repair records while collaborating with fellow technicians and management to meet fleet needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a mechanic, automotive technician, or fleet maintenance technician preferred.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during overnight shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift, bend, and work in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs on fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and performance-related issues.
• Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance standards are met.
• Complete repairs efficiently to minimize vehicle downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and repair documentation.
• Work closely with fellow technicians and management to prioritize fleet needs.
