JOB SUMMARY

ONEOK is seeking a Mechanic - Intermediate to support mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation activities within the Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) segment in Morris, Illinois. This role will work on fixed and rotating equipment across NGL assets, with a primary focus on pumps, motors, valves, electrical equipment, and related mechanical systems. The mechanic will help ensure safe, reliable operations by servicing equipment, ordering or securing parts and supplies, maintaining accurate work logs and service records, and responding to operational or emergency needs as required.

This position is based out of Morris, IL and will support NGL assets within that region. Most travel is expected to be day trips, with limited overnight travel. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with participation in a 24-hour call-out/on-call rotation that is generally two weeks on and one week off.

Ideal candidates will bring hands-on mechanical aptitude and the ability to service, maintain, and repair equipment in a safe and reliable manner. While prior oil and gas experience is helpful, candidates with transferable mechanical experience, such as automotive, autobody, industrial, agricultural, or equipment maintenance backgrounds, may be strong fits.
