Job summary

InsightFS in Jefferson, Wisconsin is seeking a Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance Technician to schedule and perform repairs on a range of trucks, tractors, and farm equipment. You will maintain parts inventory, document service records to meet DOT requirements, and back up drivers as needed.

A high school diploma and 5+ years of related experience are required, with a valid CDL Hazmat/tanker endorsement preferred. A strong commitment to safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of related work experience.
• Fabrication, cutting, welding, bearing replacement, engine service/maintenance/adjustments (gas & diesel), automotive electrical, brake adjustment/repair (mechanical & air), and hydraulic troubleshooting/repair.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record. CDL with Hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Ability to travel independently and overnight.
• Must be able to work extended hours.

precision agriculture, nutrient management, energy, feed, grain, and

Ontario, Canada. PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT Schedules And

performsvehicle and equipment repairsin response to requests from staff

and location managers. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Schedules maintenance and

repairs of vehicles and equipment as requested. Maintains an appropriate

inventory of parts necessary for repairs and maintenance. Maintains

service records of each piece of equipment and vehicleto documenta

quality maintenance program and meet DOT requirements. Responsible for

housekeeping of the shop. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS May be required to provide

backup to drivers in the Energy and Crops Departments.
