Komatsu Mechanic II (Shop) is responsible for rebuild, repair, inspection, and assembly of heavy equipment in shop and field settings. You will work hands-on to deliver safe, high-quality repairs while expanding expertise across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, welding, and rigging systems.

The role requires strong skills in component teardown, precision measurement, reading technical drawings, and completing accurate documentation, with a focus on safety and continuous learning in a dynamic

Competenze

• Working knowledge of mechanical systems and component rebuild practices.
• Ability to independently perform standard repair and assembly work.
• Basic understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Working knowledge of welding, cutting, and fabrication fundamentals.
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and service information.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of rigging, lifting, and component handling practices.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete required documentation.

Mansioni

• Perform component teardown, inspection, repair, rebuild, and assembly activities with limited supervision.
• Conduct inspections using established procedures and identify repairable, reusable, and scrap components.
• Complete standard rebuilds of components and subassemblies in accordance with OEM specifications and company standards.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions, tolerances, wear limits, and assembly requirements.
• Perform basic alignment, fit-up, adjustment, and assembly activities.
• Perform basic welding, cutting, fabrication, and repair work as required to support rebuild operations.
• Support hydraulic and electrical component replacement and repair activities under established procedures.
• Read and interpret basic prints, drawings, specifications, work instructions, and service documentation.
• Perform rigging, lifting, and component handling activities in accordance with approved procedures.
• Complete work orders, inspection reports, and repair documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe operating condition.
