Job summary

PADNOS is seeking a Tractor/Trailer Mechanic to perform inspections and preventive maintenance on a range of equipment including semi-tractors, trailers, and heavy machinery. The role involves diagnosing mechanical issues, repairing hydraulics and electrical components, and ensuring accurate paperwork is completed.

Ideal candidates bring at least one year of diesel mechanic or related military training, strong math and mechanical aptitude, and a proven ability to work well in a team or

• One plus year of related diesel mechanic or related military training.
• Mathematical and mechanical aptitude.
• Related experience and knowledge of the methods, materials tools and techniques used in repairing semi tractors & trailers.
• Strong communication skills, effective communicator.
• Proven ability to work alone or in a team setting.
• Attention to accuracy and detail.
• Demonstrated safety consciousness.
• Relevant Military experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on tractors, trailers, heavy equipment and machinery including brakes, suspensions, electrical, lighting and mechanical.
• Repair hydraulics, electrical and other mechanical components.
• Troubleshoot and mechanical diagnosis to identify repair needs.
• Prepare and complete required paperwork.

Tractor/Trailer Mechanic Position Summary:

The Mechanic will perform inspections and preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment such as semi-tractors, trailers, heavy equipment and machinery including brakes, suspensions, electrical, lighting and mechanical.

Tractor/Trailer Mechanic Position Qualifications:
