Ability to motivate team members.Experience - Field - Required/Preferred2-5 yrs - Equipment Shop / Warehouse - PreferredEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCommunicates issues to supervisor.Completes appropriate paperwork and keeps up-to-date records of all maintenance performed.Diagnoses mechanical, fuel, and electrical problems to make repairs quickly.Disassembles small engines and replaces worn valves, pistons, bearings, and other internal parts. Inspects equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.Continually evaluates the status of equipment (repairs needed, abuse, etc.), communicates these issues, and is responsible for maintenance and repair of all construction equipment, tools, and vehicles. Works with team to develop, implement, and monitor proactive preventative and overall maintenance/service program. Performs preventative maintenance on jobsites.Installs equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications.Manages, repairs, and maintains construction equipment, small tools and vehicles.
