Job description

We are currently seeking a Fleet Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul automotive vehicles.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy-duty spray trucks, tractor equipment, and bulk liquid tankers.
  2. Troubleshoot and repair common truck issues, as well as spray truck-specific problems, including electrical systems, hydraulic and mechanical components, pumps, plumbing, and spray control systems.
  3. Verify vehicle performance through test drives, adjustments to controls and systems, and system checks.
  4. Adhere to scheduled maintenance plans, assist with preventative maintenance tasks, and maintain accurate service records using electronic software for DOT-inspected equipment.
Skills/Experience
  • Familiarity with hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
  • Experience with welding, cutting, and fabrication processes to meet basic build specifications.
  • Time management and organization skills to stay on task and prioritize effectively.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Diesel Mechanic capacity.
  • Ability to independently identify, research, and resolve issues.
