Job summary

Crossland Heavy Contractors, Inc. in Kansas seeks a on-site Heavy Equipment Technician to repair and maintain a variety of heavy machinery. You will diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, perform routine maintenance, and document repairs for coordination with management.

Applicants should have own tools; CDL is a plus but not required. This full-time role offers a hands-on environment with opportunities for growth and safety-focused incentives.

Qualifications

• Repairs and maintains heavy on-/off-road equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Document repairs and communicate with management.
• Daily maintenance on Semis, Semi tractors & trailers.
• Must have own tools; CDL is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with CAT, John Deere, Cummins, Grove and Terex preferred.

About The Role

Qualifications And Responsibilities

Performs any of the following duties but not limited to:

• Repairing and maintaining all types of on and off road heavy equipment.


• Capability to diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, engine and hydraulic systems.


• Candidate would be expected to document repairs and communicate effectively with management.


• Daily routine maintenance on Semis, Semi Tractors & Semi trailers, End Dump trailers.


• Knowledge of light engine repair and maintenance.


• Must have own tools and a valid driver's license. (CDL is a plus, but not required to start.)


• Diesel, welding, fabrication, wiring or crane experience recommended.


• Familiarity with CAT, John Deere, Cummins, Grove and Terex preferred.
