Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation, based in Plymouth, MI, seeks knowledgeable auto, diesel, aircraft, or forklift technicians to join our team. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair and install dock and door equipment, perform planned maintenance, weld, maintain a service van, and manage related paperwork.

Minimum qualifications include less than 2 years related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license with the ability to safely operate lift trucks.

Job Duties

Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair and install dock and door equipment.
Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment.
Welding.
Maintain a service van and its inventory.
Process paperwork after completion of each job.

Minimum Qualifications

Less than 2 years related experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.

Preferred Qualifications

Technical school graduate preferred.
Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Welding experience.
Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills.
Read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics
Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand.
