Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation seeks a Service Technician in Lenexa, KS to diagnose and repair Crown and other lift trucks, complete scheduled maintenance, and manage van inventory. You will also handle paperwork after each job and support customers with responsive service.

The role emphasizes practical mechanical/electrical skills, safe operation of lift trucks, and strong attention to documentation and customer care. Training is provided; standard shift expectations apply.

Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.

Minimum Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
• Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment.
• Industry related training is preferred
• Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through
