Nation’s Best Holdings in Gilmer, TX is seeking a dependable warehouse equipment technician to join our parts yard. The role involves preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and keeping equipment in safe working order to support operations.

You’ll follow supervisor guidance, work outdoors in varying weather, and communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members. A valid license, 6 months of related experience, and a safety mindset are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in warehouse maintenance and vehicle background.
• Basic understanding of electronics, hydraulics, brakes, welding, and general maintenance may be required.
• Basic knowledge of lawn mower repair, small engine service, general maintenance and equipment troubleshooting required.
• Proficiency in operating a pallet jack, forklift, and rolling truck stock.
• Physical fitness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including exposure to temperature variations and inclement weather.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, to accommodate the needs of the business.
• Good communication skills are essential for interacting with customers, dispatchers, and team members effectively.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and responsible practices.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine preventive maintenance tasks and inspections as directed to avoid equipment issues
• Performs basic repairs and service on warehouse equipment, small engines, lawn mowers and related equipment in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications
• Maintains neat and orderly records of equipment maintenance and repairs
• Safely maintains and cares for tools and equipment, conducting daily inspections
• Monitors, maintains, and updates warehouse equipment parts inventory as needed
• Assists with troubleshooting and minor maintenance issues throughout the store/yard as needed
• Provides training to employees in warehouse equipment repair as required

Work Schedule

Availability to work a flexible part‑time schedule based on business needs, including Monday through Friday and Saturdays between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Weekly hours will generally range from 20–25 hours per week but may vary.
