Job summary

Responsibilities

• Repair vending machines according to work orders.
• Replace defective components and modify machines.
• Overhaul machines, check refrigeration, inspect wiring.
• Test machine functions, coin mechs, validators.
• Install wiring, trays, and validators.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Ensure machines are clean and paint scratches.
• Maintain overall quality of equipment.
• Follow company protocols to rectify poor quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Description

• Repairs vending machines (Snack, Coffee, or Grainger) based on sales/work order requirements
• Replaces defective parts of components and system such as tubing and electrical circuits; makes necessary modifications on machines
• Periodically overhauls machines, which may include but is not limited to reconnecting loose wires, checking refrigeration systems for maintenance of proper temperatures. Inspects interior of machine, checks for defects; ensures wire harnesses are tied together and checks for short circuiting and replaces line cord with GFCI protection
• Verify that all functions of the machine work properly including the following: price & test vend all machine motors, coin test machine, test operation of drop sensor, delivery bucket, and make adjustments as necessary
• Install wires, trays, coin mechs, and validators
• Troubleshooting various issues related to equipment being produced
• Ensure machine is clean and any scratches are painted / repaired
• Accountable for the overall quality of the equipment being produced down the line
• Follows company protocol to rectify poor quality
• Other duties as assigned
