Job summary

Milex Complete Auto Care is hiring a Mechanic Assistant to support our senior mechanic with car maintenance tasks. You will assist with basic maintenance on customer vehicles and gain hands-on experience in a busy shop.

You should be familiar with how a car engine works; training is available for the right candidate. A high school diploma or GED is required, and some auto repair exposure is helpful. We value reliability and punctuality as well as the ability to complete tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Completion of an auto repair program (preferred, but not required).
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Willing to learn.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic maintenance tasks on customer vehicles.
• Keeps work area clean and safe.
• Moves cars in and out of the bay area.
• Other duties as assigned.
