Job summary

MV Transportation seeks a Mechanic to perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a fleet of transit vehicles to support safe, reliable community transportation. This role covers preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, brake, and HVAC issues, and completing DOT-compliant inspections and documentation in a safety-focused, team-oriented shop.

The Mechanic helps ensure vehicles are road-ready, responds to breakdowns, and contributes to fleet reliability and service

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting and diagnosing transit vehicles.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, brake and HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with DOT vehicle inspection requirements.
