Job summary

Alignment Express, a premiere heavy duty suspension repair facility with locations in San Diego and Irvine, is seeking an experienced Heavy Truck Mechanic to join our team. This full-time position offers 40 hours per week with overtime potential and travel to service campaigns in California and possibly out of state.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of heavy truck mechanic experience, can work independently, follow written instructions, lift 50 lbs, and pass urine screening.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a working mechanic.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Follow written instructions and solve problems.
• Lift 50 lbs and pass urine screening.
• Clean DMV record.
• Own basic tooling.

Responsibilities

• Repair and service heavy trucks at San Diego and Irvine locations.
• Travel within California and possibly other states for service campaigns.
• Collaborate with Autocar parts/service center when needed.
• Maintain uptime by delivering quality workmanship.

Alignment Express, a premiere heavy duty suspension repair facility with locations in San Diego and Irvine, California. Wecater to all of San Diego, Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino counties to meet their suspension, axle, alignmentor frame repair needs. Our specialty interest includes refuse trucks, tractors, trailers, concrete pumpers, cranes,ambulances, fire trucks and buses. We have great employees with no shortage of work, come grow with us.

As a reliable source in Southern California for heavy truck repair, we at Alignment Express are looking to add anexperienced heavy truck mechanic to both of our locations. This position will be full time at forty hours per week withpotential of overtime. Because we also are a parts and service center for Autocar Truck, there will be times where ourmechanics travel to complete service campaigns in California and possibly out of state. This part of the job will includetravel via service truck or air, overnight stays, including out of state and evening hours. It is imperative to us that ourcustomer's experience no down time with their fleet. If you are ready to work, we’re ready to make that happen. The ideal applicant should have the following:

• 2+ years of experience minimum as a working mechanic or more preferred


• Work independently with minimal supervision


• Follow written instructions


• Good problem-solving skills


• Lift 50 lbs.
