The Mechanic is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair work on automobiles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. The role involves diagnosing mechanical issues, carrying out preventative maintenance, repairing or replacing faulty components, and conducting vehicle inspections. The Mechanic works with both powertrain and electrical systems to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
High school diploma or GED.
Completion of an accredited automotive technology program or technical trade school curriculum focused on advanced automotive repair.
Demonstrated ability to work with common automotive tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair procedures in a workshop or service center.
Must be able to obtain a Class B CDL within the first year of hire.
