Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a maintenance technician in Morgantown, WV to maintain and service mechanical equipment, performing cleaning, inspections, and testing to ensure safe and reliable operation. You will follow established guidelines and use your judgement to complete tasks efficiently.

You will also prepare accurate maintenance records and repair logs, supporting our onsite teams with hydraulic and fusion machine expertise and adherence to our safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of related experience in mechanical maintenance and equipment handling.
• Fusion machine experience is required or strongly preferred.
• Hydraulics experience is required to inspect and service hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Clean, inspect, and test mechanical equipment to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Prepare accurate maintenance records and documentation for repairs and servicing.

You are an effective communicator and feel confident exercising your own judgement while following established guidelines and procedures to get the job done. You understand that proper maintenance of company equipment and vehicles is an extension of preserving safety in the workplace.
