A mechanic’s job involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles or equipment through tasks like oil changes, brake fixes, and engine work. It also includes using diagnostic tools and physical skills to solve mechanical and electrical problems, ensuring safety and performance, and communicating issues to customers while keeping detailed records. Mechanics handle routine maintenance, complex repairs, and sometimes custom work on vehicles.
Those working in this position are subject to temperature changes, all types of weather conditions, fast‑paced environment, elevated noise levels and at times fumes and odors associated with vehicle exhaust at times.
Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check and drug screen.
