Position Details
  • Performs skilled work in repair and maintenance of automobiles, trucks, and other motor-driven equipment.
  • Requires knowledge in hydraulic systems, welding, acetylene torch use, electronic ignitions, engine and electrical diagnosis, and hand tools.
  • Follow all safety procedures; work with minimal supervision; may be assigned other duties and work emergency overtime.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Within one year of employment, must obtain and maintain state certification in diesel and gas engine repair, electrical systems, brakes, and steering systems.
  • Valid driver’s license required throughout employment.
