Bills Towing & Recovery is seeking a skilled Auto Mechanic to diagnose and repair vehicles, improve performance, and assist customers with explanations of issues.

The ideal candidate will understand all vehicle systems, perform routine maintenance, prepare cost estimates, and maintain a welcoming shop environment while delivering exceptional service. You will work with a team to uphold safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred.
• ASE certification or SAE certification is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles in the shop.
• Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements.
• Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes.
• Create repair estimates and timelines and convey information to customers in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Maintain accurate repair shop records and paperwork.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Maintain a clean safe driving record.
• Interact professionally with customers and work as part of a team.
