Purpose and Summary Statement

Professionally and efficiently diagnose and repair automotive and LD truck customer complaints

Essential Job Functions

• Operational skills related to automotive and LD truck repair
• Professional and quality work completed on customer vehicles
• Proper care and maintenance of equipment entrusted to the employee
• Ability to correctly read scan tool data, lab scope, & DVOM information
• Communication skills with managers, coworkers, and customers

Requirements

• Applicant must have own hand tools
• ASE & Diesel certification a plus
• Ability to work seasonal hours that may require overtime to accomplish work goals

Education and Experience

Wage dependent on years of experience and history of work quality

Functional Competencies

• Operational skills involving computer, electrical, fuel injection, and brake systems
• Ability to operate a scan tool, DVOM, and lab scope equipment
• Ability to diagnose most issues with mechanical and electrical automotive systems
