DR Power LLP in Sussex, WI seeks a Mechanical Engineer III – Senior to provide engineering input for multiple product development projects, interfacing with engineering, operations, sourcing, quality, service, and marketing.

You'll design and release components, perform FEA/CFD analyses, create detailed drawings, and mentor junior engineers. Travel to other facilities may be required; requires degree and 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience creating and releasing engineering Change Notices (CNs) to release parts and bills of materials.
• Experience with Windchill or equivalent PLM
• Ability to perform detail oriented work with a high degree of accuracy on multiple projects.
• Design experience with plastics, aluminum castings, sheet metal; knowledge of material specs.
• Experience in new product design and development.
• Ability to conduct analysis using FEA, CFD, etc.
• Strong written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate technical information to all audiences.
• Applies engineering knowledge to improve products, services and processes.
• CAD/CAE systems to model designs and produce detailed drawings.
• Supporting product development plans (schedule, product cost, meeting design inputs).
• Mentor and teach less experienced engineers.
• Travel to other facilities as necessary.
