Coperion, a Hillenbrand company, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to build industrial equipment at the Whitewater, Wisconsin site. You will assemble mechanical parts, follow drawings, and use hand and power tools to meet build requirements.

Safety, quality checks, and accurate paperwork are essential as you work with the manufacturing team on-site. The schedule is on-site: Monday–Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; Friday 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, or hands-on mechanical work.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, pictures, and basic drawings.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools, or willingness to learn.
• Attention to detail and ability to assemble parts correctly by checking fit and alignment.
• Ability to notice issues and speak up when something doesn’t look right.
• Ability to complete basic paperwork or computer entries related to your work.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting parts with or without help.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble mechanical parts and subassemblies by following written instructions, pictures, and drawings.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to assemble parts according to work instructions.
• Line up, fit, and fasten parts in the correct order and direction to meet build requirements.
• Perform basic quality checks and function checks to ensure standards are met.
• Record work completed and parts used in required paperwork or systems for tracking.
• Identify missing parts, damaged materials, or problems and report them per site procedures.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe by following safety rules and using protective equipment.

Shift 1 (United States of America)As a Mechanical Assembler, you’ll help build industrial equipment that customers count on to keep their operations running. You’ll work on-site in Whitewater, Wisconsin, at Coperion FHN, a Hillenbrand company. We design and manufacture feeding and material handling equipment that measures and moves material used in manufacturing.
