Job summary

The Kroger Co. is hiring for a Meat Department Associate at 930 Old Steese Hwy, Fairbanks, AK. You will prepare, display and rotate meat products, assist customers, and maintain clean, safe workspace while following company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Weekend availability is required and must be able to work holidays as needed.
• Strong written and spoken communication and excellent customer service skills.
• Able to read shelf tags, signs and product labels accurately.
• Experience operating meat preparation equipment is preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and display merchandise in a neat, efficient, orderly manner.
• Check product quality; ensure freshness and proper rotation.
• Keep sales areas, backrooms, coolers clean and organized.
• Unload trucks and prepare merchandise for sale.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist shoppers.
• Follow health, safety and company policies and procedures.
