Festival Foods in Wisconsin is seeking a Meat Utility Worker to maintain stock in the Meat Department, assist guests, and support the Meat Department Manager with daily operations. This part-time position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring safe handling and proper packaging of meat products.

You will help with pricing, rotation, and inventory, and you will contribute to a team-focused culture that emphasizes guest satisfaction and quality service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform essential duties in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent guest service and communication with guests and team members.
• Ability to understand and follow safety policies and food safety procedures.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 80 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with locating items on or off the sales floor.
• Receives, prepares, and fulfills guest orders and other special requests.
• Provides excellent guest services by answering department telephone or assisting on the sales floor.
• Wraps meat and seafood in appropriate packaging.
• Ensures accurate pricing on items within displays and sales floor; fills, rotates and removes product according to date.
• Supports teammates and contributes to the Meat Department culture.
• Maintains high standards of quality control and food safety.
