Job summary

Festival Foods in Appleton, WI is seeking a Meat Utility Worker to keep the Meat Department stocked and to provide exceptional guest service behind the counter and on the floor.

The role includes assisting guests, preparing orders, maintaining temperatures and quality, and supporting teammates in a fast-paced store environment. Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Understand and follow safety policies and procedures
• Knowledge of equipment: slicers, lifting techniques, trash compactor, baler

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with locating items on/off the sales floor
• Receive, prepare, and fulfill guest orders and special requests
• Provide excellent guest services at the counter and on the sales floor
• Wrap meat and seafood properly
• Ensure accurate pricing and rotate stock by date
• Maintain proper inventory and cleanliness in Meat Department
• Follow safety procedures and food safety logs
• Attend work shifts reliably and communicate scheduling needs
