Sam's West, Inc. in Oxford, AL is hiring a Meat Team Member to ensure quality, packaging, and display of meat items for our members. You’ll be on the front lines of customer service, where a friendly smile and accurate service make a real difference.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, stand for long periods, and contribute to a clean, member-ready department while using available tools to drive sales and member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must successfully complete all required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if selected.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: collaborate with associates to build a strong meat team and assist members as needed.
• Be an Expert: maintain knowledge of product safety, sanitation, inventory, and meat preparation to ensure quality.
• Be a Techie: use handheld tools to support production decisions and training for the team.
• Be an Owner: maintain the work area per company policies and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: deliver high-quality service and energize the team with a positive attitude.
• Completes tasks by following policies, meeting deadlines, and adapting to change.
