Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot in San Francisco is seeking a Stocker - Meat to provide fast, friendly service while stocking meat products and maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment.

You will inspect products for rotation, ensure accurate pricing, and work with team members to keep the sales floor stocked and hazards minimized. Union environment and shift flexibility are part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, courteous, and friendly customer service.
• Removes boxes from pallets and places them on shelves, opens boxes and removes items to restock shelves.
• Organizes and front faces items on shelves.
• Performs proper inspections to meet HACCP regulations.
• Assists in inventory review for product rotation to prevent shrinkage and damages.
• Ensures shelf pricing is correct and reflects recent pricing.
• Maintains warehouse cleanliness with routine maintenance and pallet handling.
• Monitors department floor safety; handles spills and removes trash promptly.
• Collaborates with Hi-Lo operators to keep selling floor stocked and safe.
• Notifies supervisors of low stock or out-of-stock items.
