Job summary

Big Y Foods, Inc. is seeking a Meat/Seafood Butcher at our Southampton, MA location. You will prepare and cut meat and seafood to exact standards, ensuring freshness and quality while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining department conditions, accurate ordering, inventory control and upholding food safety guidelines. You will share product knowledge with customers to help them choose the right cuts and selections.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in ordering for the entire sales areas of both the meat and seafood departments.
• Must project a clean and professional appearance.
• Must have completed Meat/Seafood Butcher and Culinary Training Program and/or passed a meat skills test.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
