Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a Meat/Seafood Department Associate Supervisor in Burlington, NC. The role involves assisting the Meat/Seafood Manager with overall department direction, training staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction and sales targets are met.

You will lead a team, set work directions, and handle performance coaching in a fast-paced retail environment. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience.
• Must read/write and present information in English.
• Proficient with HT Internet software, email, inventory, spreadsheet, and word processing software.

Responsibilities

• Assist to manage and supervise up to 15 associates in the Meat/Seafood Department.
• Assist the Meat/Seafood Manager with direction, coordination, and evaluation of the department.
• Interview and training of associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
