You\'ll assist the Meat & Seafood Manager with department merchandising, inventory, and staff training, while maintaining product quality, safety, and freshness in a fast-paced store environment. This role emphasizes teamwork and precise execution.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with basic math proficiency.
• Minimum 2 years professional experience with proven leadership.
• 2–3 years of grocery retail experience in Meat department processes.
• Strong customer service and team interaction skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 90 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in department management, merchandising, and productivity.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and team supervision.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning and direction.
• Lead a team to deliver quality products and high levels of service.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing Meat & Seafood staff.
• Monitor weekly ad items and assist with inventory and receiving; enforce safety and cleanliness programs.
• Unload deliveries and maintain equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
