Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Food Clerk to create a welcoming, well-run store experience in Fresh departments. You will engage customers, share product knowledge, and help them find what they need.

Responsibilities include maintaining attractive displays, stocking and rotating products, and using technology to perform tasks accurately while following food safety procedures. The role supports multiple departments in a fast-paced Walmart-like environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
