Job summary

Walmart is hiring Meat/Produce associates to keep the Fresh area stocked and uphold food safety standards. You will rotate products, manage displays, and assist customers across deli, bakery, and grocery sections.

The role includes stocking, cleaning, and ensuring proper dates and product quality throughout the day. Ideal candidates have a passion for fresh food, strong customer service, and the ability to work various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating products across deli, bakery, produce, dairy, meat, and dry grocery departments.
• Stock and rotate products to maintain freshness and displays.
• Ensure cleanliness and food safety standards across the Fresh area.
• Help prepare and serve ready-to-eat foods and cake orders where applicable.

Role summary

Meat / Produce associates are focused on keeping the Fresh area fully stocked. They also rotate product and maintain proper food safety standards. After moving incoming merchandise out to the salesfloor, they ensure Fresh displays are maintained and in proper order throughout day. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
