Job summary

Indiana Packers Corporation (IPC) in Delphi, Indiana, is seeking a Quality Assurance Intern for Summer 2027. The intern will perform daily QA duties in one of America's premier pork processing facilities, supporting our QA function while learning full-time QA processes.

Requirements include being a full-time college student majoring in agricultural, food science, animal science or related field, having completed freshman year, and ability to work in cold or ambient environments.

Qualifications

• Full-time college student, majoring in agricultural, food science, animal science or related field at a regionally accredited university.
• Must have completed their freshman year at a college or university.
• Must be able to work in cold (around 35 degrees) or ambient temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Complete quality control audits.
• Perform monitoring and verification tasks prescribed in HACCP and SSOP plans.
• Complete other QA inspections including boneless meat inspections, ambient and product temperature monitoring, inspection of packaging materials, process and procedural verification, and finished processed product audits.
