Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. is hiring production team members for physically demanding roles involved in processing meat products. You will handle materials, operate hand tools and machinery, and work to support safe, efficient production for America’s dinner table.

Applicants must be 18+, ready for shifts that may include overtime, and able to work in cold or hot environments with PPE and safety protocols. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role with career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to stand on concrete for up to a 12-hour shift.
• Work around animal blood and/or carcass parts.
• Able to read and follow oral and written instructions.
• Work in cold (20–40°F) or hot (>100°F) areas.

Responsibilities

• Handle materials and use hand tools, knives, machinery to produce food.
• Perform physically demanding work with good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Work scheduled hours, which may include mandatory overtime.
