Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator at our Iowa facility. You will operate meat cutting and packaging equipment, maintain a clean and safe work area, and adhere to all sanitation and safety standards.

This role requires the ability to stand for long shifts, lift up to 60 lbs on occasion, and work overtime as production demands dictate. The job involves working in cold and warm environments, wearing PPE, and potentially obtaining certification to operate certain machines.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Stand for up to a 12-hour shift.
• Work around meat products and PPE.
• May require certification to operate equipment.
