Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator for Autobagger on the 2nd shift at our Kinston, NC facility.

You will operate meat cutting and packaging equipment, help maintain a safe, efficient production line, and support quality and safety standards throughout the shift. The role is full-time onsite, with a starting hourly wage of $19.80 and an additional $1.00 per hour shift differential for the 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to stand and perform physical tasks for long shifts (up to 12 hours).
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Willingness to work in cold/warm environments and around meat processing operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate meat cutting/packaging machines and related equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment.
• Follow SOPs to meet safety and quality standards.
