Responsibilities

  • Manage daily Meat Department operations to meet service, quality, and financial expectations.
  • Maintain a professional, customer-focused environment and respond to inquiries and special orders.
  • Plan and coordinate daily production activities including preparation, packaging, stocking, and merchandising.
  • Ensure displays are stocked, rotated, labeled, and maintained to company standards.
  • Implement promotional and seasonal programs as scheduled.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, temperature, and regulatory requirements.
  • Review production results and adjust activities to support yield and profitability goals.
  • Manage ordering, inventory levels, shrink, reclamation, and departmental expenses.
  • Maintain clean, safe work areas including preparation rooms, coolers, freezers, display cases, and equipment.
  • Schedule, train, coach, and oversee associates to ensure coverage and performance expectations.
  • Complete and maintain required documentation including logs, reports, and audits.

Main Responsibilities
