Job summary

PW Retail Foods LLC seeks a Meat Wrapper for Piggly Wiggly in Wisconsin to weigh, wrap, price and label meat products, stock shelves, and keep a clean work area. This part-time position supports the Meat Department with customer service and correct pricing.

Shifts include Morning, Day and Evening. The role requires lifting up to 100 lb and working in cold environments, with adherence to safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1–2 years retail/meat department experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 100 lb and work in cold environments.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company policy through proper processing, preparation, and packaging of product.
• Ensure pricing on product is correct and clearly marked.
• Follow regulations regarding meat operations, safety, and sanitation.
• Maintain proper case conditions, including cleaning, stocking, rotating product to minimize shrink.
• Promote sales through courteous and friendly customer service.
• Follow direction of Meat Manager/Manager on Duty and perform other duties as assigned.
