Qualifications

• Willing and available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Able to read shelf tags, signs, and product labels.
• Qualified and able to operate power tools (automatic wrapper, slicer, grinder, power saw, and jack).
• Must work safely with various chemically based cleaning solutions.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and assist all department members.
• Able to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Meat work experience or similar experience in food preparation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and display meat items for sale following company standards.
• Wait on customers and provide customer services.
• Maintain clean, organized display cases and backrooms.
• Unload trucks and prepare merchandise for sale.
• Check product quality and ensure freshness and proper rotation.
• Wash and sanitize equipment per policies and health department rules.
• Greet customers and assist them in finding products.
• Follow all laws and company policies; maintain tidiness and safety.
