Cardenas Markets is seeking a Meat Clerk to join our store team in California. You will wash, inspect, and rotate meat products, stock displays, and ensure accurate pricing and signage while delivering friendly service to customers.

The role requires teamwork, basic math for pricing, and adherence to sanitation guidelines; lifting up to 30-40 lbs, working in a fast-paced grocery environment, and contributing to a clean, welcoming meat department that supports store goals.

Qualifications

• Valid Food Handlers Card.
• Prior food preparer experience at a grocery store preferred.
• Must be friendly and people oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Work professionally as part of the team and provide excellent customer service.
• Verify prices, hang current sales signs, and remove out-of-date signs.
• Order and inventory required meats, seafood, and poultry.
• Sell products by providing customers with information needed to make product-related decisions.
• Ensure neat appearance of department and meat displays.
• Comply with sanitation and health guidelines.
