Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service and maintain organized displays in our Michigan grocery stores. You’ll engage customers, help locate products, and ensure fresh, visually appealing merchandise across departments.

Qualifications

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments. You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
