Job summary

You will greet customers, unload and display merchandise, monitor temperatures, keep areas clean, operate the cash register, and ensure product quality, signage and safe, organized workspaces.

Qualifications

• Willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for customers and associates.
• Able to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials, and bulletins.
• Ability to multitask, set priorities, present information professionally, and work with all levels of the organization.
• Personal initiative and follow through to completion.
• Team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Must work with cleaning solutions, safely use sharp tools, and operate production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Wait on customers and greet them with good quality food.
• Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
• Communicate with customers and associates.
• Make a clean, neat and friendly impression on customers.
• Unload and store merchandise, prepare and display foods per standards, recipes and policies.
• Monitor temperatures as required.
• Ensure product quality is fresh and safe.
• Keep sales areas, backrooms and coolers clean and organized.
• Keep floors clean and safe.
• Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils per policies and procedures.
• Maintain signage, product rotation, freshness, quantity, quality and space allocation.
• Maintain equipment and facilities safely per policies and procedures.
• Adhere to company policies and laws.
• Operate cash register per procedures.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Manage conflict in a non-confrontational, cooperative manner.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
