Job summary

The GIANT Company is a leading grocery retailer serving communities across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and New Jersey. We are looking for team members to support our meat department with customer service, receiving, stock rotation, and product preparation.

You will help maintain safety and sanitation standards in all meat areas, work in a cold environment, and contribute to a friendly, efficient store experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must read, understand, and follow company policies and safety regulations
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements with or without accommodations
• Must be able to operate or learn to operate the equipment used for the job
• Must be able to work in a cold environment

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and rotate cooler contents.
• Weigh, price, and label products.
• Stock cases and select products.
• Prepare valued-added products.
• Provide exemplary customer service.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and suggestive selling.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety standards.
• Perform other tasks as required by management.
• Process cuts for service counter or special orders.
• Set the service case.
